One night, while finishing his Rudolphine Tables—a book of planetary calculations—he looked up at the sky and felt something powerful. He wrote in his diary:
“I felt carried away by an unutterable rapture at the divine spectacle of the heavens.”
He folded his hands and whispered:
“I thank Thee, Lord Creator, that Thou hast allowed me to see the beauty of Thy work.”
In that moment, science became worship. His telescope became a temple. His calculations became a hymn.
